What we do
We specialize in the repair and rebinding of books. If your special book is falling apart, then I can repair it. Bibles are my specialty but I fix all sorts of books. History books, story books, textbooks, cookbooks are just some of the books I can repair and put into like new condition. I also do student theses and specialty books.
Who Am I
My name is Jerry. This is my trade that I grew up with and have spent most of my life working in producing books. I have been trained in all aspects of bindery work and have in my later years gone back to rebinding and fixing books for individuals. I take a great pride in taking on the task of taking a book that has been worn out and broken and giving it new life by restoring it to its previous glory.
Now What
If you have a book in need of repair, let me look at it. My estimates are free. I do ask that you let me see the book up close. There are many factors to arriving at a good price and to do it in person is the best way. Over the phone I can give an idea on costs but in person the price is set. Since I have set up my shop in my house it gives me more flexibility to make time for you. When you phone or Email me we can set a time that is good for you. The process usually takes about 10 minutes to get a solid price and I generally take about two to three weeks to return your book.
